Bill Bodry, Founder and President
A spinal cord injury left Bill Bodry paralyzed at the age of 27. Facing a lifetime of limitation, predictable secondary medical complications and no affordable alternatives for continuing long term physical therapy, Bill established the Challenge Center in 1987. Bill, through the Challenge Center and it's specialized clinical staff, has made it his life's work and mission to provide post-acute rehabilitation programs and services to the San Diego region's children, adults and seniors living with severe disabilities in need of long term affordable physical therapy, providing vital services to those living on limited income when insurance and options for care have been exhausted.

Since its beginning in 1987, Challenge Center has provided and continues to provide clinical post-acute rehabilitation as well as health education and promotion by skilled physical therapists to San Diegans living with the challenges of Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson's Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, or any disease state that has significantly impacted their level of function.
